MyCC CYCLE CYBERJAYA #BEBASKARTEL “KAYUH KAW-KAW 2018”

Date : 31 March 2018 (Sat), 6.45 a.m. – 12.00 noon
Venue : Park & Ride, Cyberjaya, Sepang
Race Category : For safety reasons, there is an age limit for each race category. Please note that the online registration form will automatically restrict the entry, based on your date of birth and registration limit.

“Push Bike” is a fun event for kids between 3 to 6 years old. The race is designed to encourage kids to participate in sport while they are young. Every child must accompany by an adult.

Once your payment is confirmed, we will send you a notification email within 3 working days for you to redeem your race entry pack collection.

3. Registration Date

Registrations will open on 5 March 2018 at www.mycc.gov.my. Closing date is on 25 March 2018.

All registration payments must be completed by 25 March 2018.

Maximum entry is 500 participants (on a first-come, first served basis).

Please read the Rules & Regulations of the “MyCC Cycle Cyberjaya #BEBASKARTEL Kayuh Kaw Kaw 2018” carefully prior to the registration.

4.3 Race Day Programme

It is recommended that you arrive at your respective start area at least 20 minutes before the gun goes. If you are not at the start area when the gun is fired, you may not be allowed to start.

4.4 Race Entry Pack Collection

To collect your race entry pack, you must bring the printout of your confirmation slip and your My Kad / My Kid (NRIC) / passport. You may appoint a representative to collect your race entry pack on your behalf. The representative must present the following:

  • Printout of your confirmation slip;
  • Letter of authorisation signed by you (it is at the bottom of your confirmation slip);
  • Representative’s My Kad / My Kid (NRIC) / passport; and
  • Photocopy of your My Kad / My Kid (NRIC) / passport.

  • Strictly no changes in T-shirt sizes will be allowed
  • No late collection will be entertained
  • No delivery of race entry packs will be arranged

Summary of Cover

Rules & Regulations

  1. The “MyCC Cycle Cyberjaya #BEBASKARTEL Kayuh Kaw Kaw 2018” (“the Event”) is organised by the Malaysia Competition Commission (“the Organiser”) with the full support of Majlis Perbandaran Sepang (“MP Sepang”).
  2. General rules:
    1. Registration of this event is open to MALAYSIAN only.
    2. Each Participant is allowed to win only one prize-money award (where applicable) in the category that he/she has registered for.
    3. The Organiser reserves the right to replace any winner if he/she is found to be disqualified.
    4. All winners must report to the person in charge at the prize giving zone as stipulated on their winner tag.
    5. All winners must present their original identification document (such as My Kad or My Kid) to collect their prize medal.
    6. Prize money will be submitted to the winner through bank transfer within 7 working days.
    7. For all Participants, disputes and appeals regarding the results must be made within 30 minutes of the published results or immediately after the prize presentation, whichever is earlier, failing which the Organiser reserves the right not to entertain any disputes or appeals thereafter.
    8. For all disputes, the Organiser's decision is final and no objections thereafter will be entertained.
    9. The participants must wear the assigned bib number visibly on his/her bicycle.
    10. All Participants who successfully completed the race within their respective cut-off time will be awarded a finisher medal upon presentation of their bib number to the respective staff.
    11. All Participants who successfully completed the race within the respective cut-off times will be awarded a certificate. This entitlement will not apply to Participants who were unable to complete the race within the respective cut-off times, are disqualified or do not complete the race.
  3. Push Bike for Kids
    1. There are 4 (four) different categories for the Push Bike activity differentiated by age and gender groups.
    2. Children under 3 years old or 7 years old and above as of Event Day will not be allowed to participate in any of the Push Bike for Kids categories.
    3. Registrations for the Push Bike for Kids shall be entered by their legal parent/guardian and who must submit the relevant indemnity declaration form upon registration. Click HERE to download the form Failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to deny entry to any participant.
    4. The Push Bike for Kids is non-competitive, therefore no timing chip will be issued and no official timing will be recorded or provided. However, winners must present their original identification document (such as My Kid) to collect their prize medal.
    5. Participants of Push Bike for Kids categories who successfully completed the activity will be awarded a finisher medal upon presentation of their bib number on Event Day to the respective staff.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these Rules and Regulations of the Event from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organiser shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the Organiser will take into account the interests of all the affected Participants.
  5. Any updates on the Rules and Regulations of the Event will be notified on the Organiser’s official website, www.mycc.gov.my and it is the responsibility of the affected Participant to keep abreast with any changes.
  6. By signing up for the Event, the Participant agrees that the Organiser might post the full race results on the website after the race.
  7. Completion of the official entry form through online registration, confirms the Participant’s agreement to abide by all the relevant Rules and Regulations of the Organiser.
  8. Registration for the race is only confirmed upon payment made.
  9. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event at any time without prior notice to the Participants, in which case the Organiser will make efforts to inform the Participants prior to the date of the Event.
  10. There will strictly be no refunds available if the Event is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser or acts of God which renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.
  11. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Event race routes as the Organiser deems fit for the safety of the Participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the Event, at any time without prior notice to the Participants. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the Participants prior to the date of the Event. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.
  12. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser to ensure the Participants’ safety, Participants cycle solely at their own risk and the Organiser will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for, during, or after participation in the Event. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual Event Day.
  13. All participants must provide their own bike and safety equipment. The Organiser will have no spare parts/bikes or safety equipment.
  14. All participants must wear a properly fitted cycling helmet. Any participant whose helmet is deemed unsafe will not be allowed to participate.
  15. Participants must wear the assigned bib number visibly on his/her bicycle at all times. Participants who do not display bib numbers will be taken off the course by security officers/officials and will be immediately disqualified.
  16. Once registration has been duly processed, there will be strictly no refunds of fees for Participants who do not eventually participate in the Event for whatever reason.
  17. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of Participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event (including any programme(s), event(s), talk(s), demonstration(s) or any other activities associated before or after the actual Event Day, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and publicity purposes.
  18. The Organiser reserves the right to limit and/or refuse entry to the Event and/or other programme(s), event(s), talk(s), demonstration(s) or any other activities involving the Organiser without giving any reason and/or notice.
  19. The Organiser will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.
  20. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel and/or add any race category without prior notice to the Participants.
  21. Participants are strictly not allowed to transfer their race entries to another party or change race categories after their registrations are confirmed.
  22. Any Participant who commences to cycle before the actual flag-off of his/her registered race category will be immediately disqualified.
  23. Participants who do not start within 20 minutes of respective flag offs, for safety reasons may not be allowed to start and will be immediately disqualified.
  24. The Organiser will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage, personal or otherwise, to the belongings and items deposited at the Event baggage storage provided for the Participants. The Organiser also reserves the right to check any item or baggage deposited.
  25. Winner will require to provide legal proof of My Kad / My Kid (NRIC) in order to be eligible for the prize. Winners who fail to do so will have their rank and prize forfeited. Cycling using someone’s bib number will be disqualified from the Event and not entitle for prize winner.
  26. Finisher medal will be given to all Participants for each category after they complete the race.
  27. Official ranking will be based on “Gun Time”. “Gun Time” refer to the time taken at the start of the race usually indicated by a physical flag off till the cycler arrives on the finishing line. Official results will be based on finish line judges.
  28. Any protests on the official result, kindly write in with evidence to the organizers within 30 minutes once the result is announced with protest fees RM200 in cash, which is non- refundable.
  29. Race entry packs not collected after the last collection date will be deemed as unwanted and the Organiser may dispose or re-distribute them accordingly. Race entry packs cannot be collected on Event Day.

IMPORTANT:

Please bring along proof of payment and My Kad / My Kid when collecting your race kit. If collecting race kit on behalf, please bring confirmation and photocopy my card as proof of participation of this event. There will be no race kit collection during the event day.
